Since incorporating in November 1990, Hemisphere Entertainment, Inc. has been successfully producing and selling full-length feature films to the world market. From 1994 forward, films produced by Hemisphere have been screened at every major worldwide film market.

Over the past six years, Hemisphere’s films have consistently appeared domestically on major premium channels such as HBO, SHOWTIME, CINEMAX, and THE MOVIE CHANNEL. More recent films have also benefited from pay-per-view and video releases and will have commercial/cable TV showings in the future. In the international market, these films have achieved successful runs in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa.

Ralph Portillo (CEO and President)

Mr. Portillo is an award-winning director and producer with over 20 years of directing and production experience. His films have won awards at The New York Film Festival, Worldfest Houston and Cindy Awards. Mr Portillo is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and he holds an MBA degree in International Business.

Jamie Elliott (COO and Executive Vice President)

Ms. Elliott has proven success as both a producer and writer. As a producer her films have won awards at Houston Worldfest and The Santa Clarita International Film Festival. Ms. Elliott began her career in the film industry as a casting director, casting over 400 films and commercials. She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Brad Wilson (Vice President of Development and Production)

Mr. Wilson was head of Academy Award winning actor Robert Duvall’s production company for 11 years. As a producer his films have received awards from the Berlin Film Festival, The America Cinema Foundation, The Chicago Film Critics Association. He is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
